Red Sox Foundation to be Highlighted During NESN Broadcast Saturday, April 4

RED SOX FOUNDATION TO BE HIGHLIGHTED DURING NESN BROADCAST SATURDAY, APRIL 4

 BOSTON, MA – The Red Sox Foundation will be featured throughout NESN’s broadcast of the Red Sox-Padres game Saturday afternoon, beginning with their pregame show at 3 p.m. The special broadcast will highlight a partnership between the Foundation and the MassMutual Foundation focusing on the Fenway Park Learning Lab, as well as other Foundation core partners and programs.

NESN’s broadcast will feature leaders from the Red Sox Foundation, joined by representatives from the Foundation’s core programs and partners to highlight their work in the areas of health, education, and recreation.

Pregame ceremonies will celebrate the Fenway Park Learning Lab presented by the MassMutual Foundation and in partnership with Fenway Park Tours, which offers an immersive educational tour for sixth-grade students from Boston Public Schools.

Opportunities to support the Red Sox Foundation will be shared throughout the game with more information at redsox.com/foundation, including:

  • 50/50 raffle tickets can be purchased at Fenway Park or online at for fans who are 18 years or older and located in Massachusetts at the time of purchase;
  • For a limited time, the Foundation will run its Charity Bag fundraiser, a promotional ticket package for fans to donate and receive a cooler bag filled with autographed items, giveaways and more;
  • Official Red Sox Foundation branded merchandise will be sold online and at the Official Team Store at 19 Jersey Street.

The MassMutual Foundation has pledged to match every dollar donated during the Foundation Game, up to $100,000, to support the Red Sox Foundation.

Fans can also make direct donations to the team charity online at redsoxfoundation.org. The Red Sox Foundation operates out of Fenway Park with 18 full time employees, a dedicated 50/50 Raffle sales team, the support of the Boston Red Sox, and Red Sox Nation.
