Expanding on the important work we do with Boston’s inner city youth and the RBI Baseball and Softball, the Red Sox Foundation sponsors Little League teams in New England
Red Sox Foundation sponsored Little League teams to educate children the importance of character, discipline, teamwork and physical fitness. In addition to offering team sponsorship to Little League Major Division (in Massachusetts and Rhode Island), the Foundation sponsors coach/volunteer clinics, the annual Little League State Tournament in the summer, and presents Volunteer of the Year Award at a special pregame ceremony at Fenway. Red Sox Foundation’s Little League is sponsored by HP Hood, National Grid, PawSox Foundation and Portland Sea Dogs.
