Collecting like-new and clean equipment so kids can play ball!

Did you know there are kids out there who can’t afford to buy equipment to play baseball and softball? Often today, you have to “pay to play,” and there are many kids who simply cannot afford it. At Jordan’s Furniture, we feel every kid who wants to play should have the chance to enjoy America’s favorite pastime.

So, until April 12th, bring your gently-used, clean baseball or softball equipment to any Jordan’s Location, and in partnership with the Red Sox Foundation, your equipment will get in the hands of a deserving child. All donations must be in like-new, clean condition. Accepted items include cleats (metal and plastic), baseballs (new), softballs (new), bats (metal only), catcher’s equipment, and gloves.

The Double Play Program supports youth baseball and softball in all Jordan’s communities, the Red Sox Foundation’s Nike RBI Program, plus initiatives in CT and Maine.
