RED SOX FOUNDATION LAUNCHES NATIONWIDE “RED SEAT” FUNDRAISING SWEEPSTAKES FOR SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON

BOSTON, MA – The Red Sox Foundation today announced a nationwide sweepstakes that gives one lucky fan the chance to win prizes and have a cutout of their likeness placed in Fenway Park’s historic red seat for the second half of the 2020 season.

To enter the sweepstakes, a donation to the Red Sox Foundation is encouraged. Every $1 donation is equivalent to one sweepstakes entry (a fan who make a $25 donation will receive 25 entries into the sweepstakes). Fans can enter by visiting redsox.com/win through August 19 at 9 p.m.

In addition to the cutout, the winner of the sweepstakes will receive a replica red seat autographed by members of the 2021 Red Sox team, four tickets (including one in the red seat) to the 2021 home opener at Fenway Park, a VIP tour before the 2021 home opener, and $1,000 worth of Red Sox gear. If the grand prize winner’s cutout is hit by a home run ball during a game in the second half of the 2020 regular season, they will receive four lifetime season tickets in Fenway Park’s State Street Pavilion Club, subject to applicable season ticket license terms and conditions. Please see official rules for full details.
