MA Red Sox/Jimmy Fund Charity License Plates
Proceeds are divided equally between the Red Sox Foundation, which is the official team charity of the Boston Red Sox, and the Jimmy Fund, which supports patient care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
This charity plate costs $40. Under state charity plate guidelines, $28 of the purchase price will be distributed to the two nonprofit charities. The remaining $12 is retained by the state of Massachusetts to cover the one-time-only cost of manufacturing the charity plate.
You can automatically renew your charity plate every two years for $40 with proceeds divided equally between the Jimmy Fund and Red Sox Foundation.
Your new charity plate and registration will be mailed to you by the state Registry of Motor Vehicles within 10 business days.
